The GNTO had developed during the 1960’s and 1970’s, in some of the properties included in the portfolio, innovative tourism infrastructures which reflected the creative vision of important architects, and the breadth of its business activities at the time. They were the first infrastructures built in post-war Greece developed specifically for tourism purposes, they had an almost monopolistic status, and were characterised by a wide range of tourism products (marinas, Xenia hotels, camping sites, spas, casinos, etc.).
